  3.  Announces New NetWare Maintenance Program and NetWare Express
  4.  
  5. PROVO, Utah--Feb. 5, 1992--Novell today announced it is improving support
  6. for NetWare customers by providing a new NetWare Maintenance program to
  7. provide customers with timely and easy access to enhancements, fixes and
  8. general information for all NetWare products.  NetWare Maintenance is
  9. available through Novell Resellers and replaces the existing NetWare UpDate
  10. program.

  12. "The new NetWare Maintenance program will give customers one place to
  13. immediately and efficiently receive all enhancements and fixes for all
  14. Novell products," said John Edwards, director of marketing for Novell's
  15. NetWare systems group.  "This will greatly enhance the value of NetWare
  16. products for our customers."

  18. Available Through NetWare Express NetWare Maintenance is available on
  19. NetWare Express, Novell's new online information warehouse.  NetWare
  20. Express utilizes GE Information Services network and Business Talk
  21. software, giving customers worldwide access to NetWare Express.

  23. As enhancements, fixes and new information become available, they will be
  24. placed in the NetWare Maintenance area on NetWare Express for customers who
  25. participate in the NetWare Maintenance program.  NetWare Express will also
  26. provide additional public information such as general product information,
  27. Novell Buyer's Guides, price lists, press releases and technical bulletins.

  29. Availability and Pricing NetWare Maintenance--NetWare Maintenance is
  30. available through Novell Resellers and is sold on an annual basis.  The
  31. yearly, renewable contract provides an account on NetWare Express.  NetWare
  32. Maintenance is a company-wide license that allows distribution of the
  33. updated information throughout an organization, regardless of the number of
  34. network servers installed.  NetWare Maintenance is priced at U.S. $4,995.

  36. NetWare Express--The charge for a NetWare Express account is included in
  37. the NetWare Maintenance price.  Connection times for NetWare Express are
  38. U.S. $20 per hour inside the U.S. and Canada and U.S. $40 outside the U.S.
  39. and Canada.  NetWare Express will be available in February 1992.
